Estimation of ultra-high pressure by means of the change in nuclear decay rate

Abstract
A new method is proposed, by which a pressure of the order of 1010 Pa or more can be estimated by observing the change in decay rate of radioactive nuclei embedded in a pressure device. The radioactive sources 99mTc and 73Ga are used in the procedure.Keywords
