Abstract
The meson wave functions of the anisotropic chromodynamics theory are used in order to calculate the matrix elements and hence the form factors for , mesons. Nonleptonic weak decays into two pseudoscalar () or pseudoscalar-vector () final states are studied in a factorization approach, and the exclusive widths are successfully computed. We find that the -exchange contribution turns out to be very important for and decays.
