Theory of the nonleptonic decays of heavy flavors

Abstract
The meson wave functions of the anisotropic chromodynamics theory are used in order to calculate the matrix elements and hence the form factors for D, B mesons. Nonleptonic weak decays into two pseudoscalar (PP) or pseudoscalar-vector (PV) final states are studied in a factorization approach, and the exclusive widths are successfully computed. We find that the W-exchange contribution turns out to be very important for D0 and DS decays.
