Abstract
In 2 women, one in the 7th month of pregnancy, frontal lobe abscess was signaled by abrupt onset of neurologic changes suggesting a cerebral vascular lesion. Studies including angiography revealed an intracranial mass in each case. In one, the echoencephalogram was helpful while the patient was asymptomatic and the only neurologic sign was mild hyperreflexia in right arm and leg. No source of infection was evident. Surgical and antibiotic therapy eradicated the septic processes. Ten months, and 3-1/2 years after operation, there has been no recurrence. This publication has 2 references indexed in Scilit:
