Abstract
The infection of mice intraperit. with C. neoformans acted as a blocking mechanism when these animals were infected 16 days later with encephalomyocarditis virus by intranasal instillation. The survival rate of animals thus treated was increased by as much as 85% as compared to mice infected solely with the encephalomyocarditis virus. Keywords
