Abstract
Cylindrocladiella, a new hyphomycete genus, is proposed for the small-spored species of Cylindrocladium. The small-spored species differ not only in the shape and smaller size of the conidia but especially in the type of branching of their conidiophores and the position and structure of the appendage with vesicle. Further differences are found in the cultural characteristics, chlamydospores, microsclerotia, and the teleomorphs. A new species, Cylindrocladiella infestans, is described. This publication has 2 references indexed in Scilit:
