Abstract
The problem of this study was to identify the report writing practices of supervisory banking personnel and to determine the topical areas which should be emphasized in a business report writing course. A questionnaire was administered to 136 supervisory personnel attending the Louisiana Banking School for Supervisory Training at Louisiana State University. The results of this study indicated that writing effective reports is a common requirement for banking supervisors. Keywords
