Abstract
The EPR spectrum of CaO doped with Mg, part of which was coloured during growth, has been studied as a function of irradiation with visible light and annealing to temperatures of 1300 degrees C. Three new EPR centres are reported. Two of the centres are enhanced by low temperature illumination of coloured CaO. The third centre is attributed to an FA+ centre. Keywords
