Abstract
The influence of aperture averaging on the two-frequency correlation of a beam that propagates in a weakly turbulent atmosphere is considered. A computational scheme to derive closed expressions for the aperture-averaged two-frequency log amplitude and phase correlation functions is presented. An application of the resulting expressions to a level-crossing problem is illustrated. Keywords
