Abstract
Describes the process whereby economically desirable characters (e.g. disease resistance) may be transferred from an alien species through induced polyploidy, appropriate crossings and selection, using either the substitution of one whole alien chromosome, or a segmental interchange chromosome carrying the desired genes.This publication has 4 references indexed in Scilit:
