Subacute Constrictive Uremic Pericarditis

Abstract
Uremic pericarditis progressed to subacute constriction despite intensive medical treatment in two patients with concomitant metabolic stress of surgery and infection. Total pericardiectomy was successful and should be done as soon as medical measures fail to resolve the pericarditis. (JAMA235:1351-1352, 1976)
