Abstract
Colloidal-type suspensions were prepd. and evaluated for use as mosquito larvicides. The conc, of DDT in the suspension influenced stability; a 5% DDT suspension precipitated, while a 2% DDT suspension was quite stable when used with surface-wetting agents. These colloidal type suspensions, when used as mosquito larvicides at cones, necessary to obtain long-lasting killing effect, were also toxic to fish and other aquatic life. Keywords
