Abstract
Apparatus is described which administers known doses of protons, deuterons, or a-particles in a beam as small as 0.025 mm in diameter to biological material. The energy is 11 Mev/nucleon. Penetration of the deuteron beam reaches a maximum depth of 2.3 mm, but the portion usable for radiobiologic analysis is confined to the first 1.5 mm of the track. Keywords
