Abstract
A 14-symptom mood and behavior rating scale was developed for use twice daily by nurses and nursing assistants on an inpatient service. Inter-rater reliability studies indicate that raters can be easily substituted for one another. Scores for specific symptoms correlate well with those for similar symptoms on several commonly used scales. Keywords
