Observations at Bridgwater, 1768 1768 Month. Barometer State of the weather and wind. Fahrenheit's thermom. Ombr. January 3. Highest From the 1st to the 8th, frosty 25. Highest 48 Med. In 24. Lowest and remarkably cold. On the 9th 4. Lowest 9 }35 3,905 In 30,14 a vert deep snow, 1 foot 3 inches 29,18 undriven; and it would have been deeper, had it not rained the day before.
