Abstract
We report stable temporal compression of mode‐locked laser pulses using a saturable dye in a regenerative amplifier. We have demonstrated compression at 1.06 μm from 120 to 15 ps with energy stability better than ±5%, and we have demonstrated synchronization of the compressed pulse to pulses as long as 1000 ps.Keywords
