Abstract
We present a model based on quantum chromodynamics for calculating the production of particles containing heavy quarks. The production of heavy quarks is due to two-gluon annihilation. Soft-gluon emission is assumed to create a random-phase situation. For , , and mesons we calculate transversemomentum distributions.
