Abstract
Patients with bipolar affective illness have often been viewed as poor candidates for psychotherapy. In this report we present the results of a long-term psychotherapy group composed exclusively of manic-depressive patients. Groups of this kind may offer a simple, cost-effective adjunct to lithium prophylaxis. They offer the advantages of psychotherapy to a group of patients whom mental health professional have regarded as resistant to it.This publication has 2 references indexed in Scilit:
