Abstract
The collections of fleas described in this paper were made during an enquiry into the plague conditions of Upper Egypt, carried out in 1912 and 1913 on behalf of the Egyptian Government. With few exceptions the fleas were taken from rats or other rodents trapped either in the native houses or in the Nile boats (native river craft), which were infested with rats. Keywords
