Abstract
The practical synthetic method for a series of substantially novel fluorine-containing polyfunctional aromatic compounds, 3-trifluoromethyl-4-halobenzonitriles [halo = Cl, Br, and F], was established by using copper-cyano complexes as effective Sandmeyer cyanating reagents.Keywords
