Abstract
As the local herring stock in Lindåspollene spawns in shallow water, and as the shallow-water area, constituting c. 15 % of the total Lindåspollene area, has a benthos different from the basins, a study of the shallow-water (less than 10 m) soft-bottom benthos in Lindåspollene was initiated. This paper, the first in a series, describes the study area, the main sampling program, and the environmental data obtained. This publication has 7 references indexed in Scilit:
