Abstract
Thioacetals derived from ketones and aldehydes have been shown to undergo CF3SO3SiMe3 or CF3SO3SiButMe2 catalysed sulphur transfer in the presence of an aldehyde to give the corresponding carbonyl compounds at room temperature.Keywords
