Abstract
A group of 30 Ss read under tachistoscopic exposure material in three typographical styles[long dash]conventional, spaced unit, and square-span[long dash]and were tested for comprehension. The square-span style yielded comprehension spans significantly superior to the other two styles, which did not differ.
