An Improved Method for Cleaning and Preparing Ticks for Examination with the Scanning Electron Microscope

Abstract
The removal of din particles adhering to the integument of ticks, especially argasids, is a necessary prerequisite before examination by scanning electron microscopy. We report an improved cleaning method in which a common household glue is used to remove integumental debris from ticks.
