Abstract
The dipole moment of FClO3 has been determined by measuring the absolute-absorption maximum and linewidth parameters due to the J11–12 transition in a resonant cavity at ∼126 196.000 MHz. The linewidth parameter was 3.37 MHz/mm Hg and the dipole moment was found to be 0.025±0.003 D, in close agreement with the value of 0.023±0.003 D found by a dielectric-relaxation method. Keywords
