Abstract
G. texana, is re-described including the male, immature forms and egg. Uncertainties concerning the date of description, synonyms, and hosts are clarified. G. texana is the only sp. so far described in the genus Geckobiella, that has been collected only in the United States, and occurs only on lizards belonging to the genus Sceloporus.
