Abstract

An efficient green phosphor has been found in . Optimum formulation of host matrix, cation substitutions, and activator concentrations have been made and tested in fluorescent lamps. The structure has not been determined, but it is suggested that it may be a ‐stabilized structure differing from the apparent host matrix of . Efficient energy transfer by radiationless transfer has been found to Eu⁺³ and Nd⁺³.
