Abstract
The capillary moisture distribution curve is discussed by the new theory based on air entry to the saturated ideal soil. The pore structure of "most open" and "closest" packings of uniform size spheres was considered, and the sizes of necks between the pore cells were not uniform. The phenomenon of air passing through a neck is represented by a probability. Using the probability, the equations of the air entry into the pore cell were led through the numberless routes and calculations were made using a digital computer. Keywords
