Practical Hearing Aid Measurements

Abstract
The effects of the body on the response of a hearing aid at different intensities and frequencies of sound has been indicated by measurements of hearing aid output. Measurements were made with an artificial body. Losses in hearing aid output due to the "baffle" effect of the body are especially noteworthy at high frequencies of sound stimulation. These results are analogous to similar data secured on human bodies.
