Radioactive decay ofBa139

The decay of ${}_{}{}^{139}{}_{}{}^{}\mathrm{Ba}$ to levels of ${}_{}{}^{139}{}_{}{}^{}\mathrm{La}$ was studied to resolve discrepancies in previous determinations of the decay scheme of this isotope. The existence of 1257, 1601, 1691, 1762, and 1797 keV $\gamma$ rays has been confirmed and some new relative intensities established.
