Abstract
Benomyl, dichloran, and phenol added to potato dextrose agar or water agar aided in the isolation of Fomes annosus and other wood-rotting basidiomycetes from stumps and roots. These additives suppressed the growth of many competitive organisms, especially Trichoderma spp. and blue stain fungi. Keywords
