Abstract
The auditory acuity of a number of dogs was determined by the conditioned reflex method. Irradiation by x-rays generated at 80-100 kv. peak, and 5 ma., produced a transient gain in acuity of about 5.5 decibels which lasted from 2 to 5 weeks. The gradual accumulation of large doses (up to 11,100 r units) did not impair hearing, although skin burns and loss of hair were produced. This publication has 3 references indexed in Scilit:
