THE BIOLOGY OF CANADIAN WEEDS.: 11. Ambrosia artemisiifolia L. and A. psilostachya DC.

Abstract
This account of Ambrosia artemisiifolia L. (common ragweed) and A. psilostachya DC. (perennial ragweed) summarizes the most recent biological information on these species as part of a series of contributions on plants that are weedy in Canada. Common ragweed is weedy in open disturbed habitats, particularly in southern Ontario and Quebec and portions of the Maritime Provinces. Perennial ragweed is most abundant in southern Saskatchewan and Manitoba.
