Abstract
By acid orcein staining of thick sections of skin, the elastic fibers may be visualized in three dimensions enabling one to discern the distribution and general pattern of the elastic network. A truer picture of the elastic architecture is thus obtainable. This modification will be helpful in studying the elastic changes produced by age and disease, especially the so-called dermal elastoses. This publication has 0 references indexed in Scilit:
