Abstract
A tumor which arose spontaneously in an inbred Mus musculus breeding female grew readily in several other inbred stocks. 90.11% of all M. bactrianus mice employed developed palpable masses of this transplanted tumor tissue. Some of these masses remained for 10-23 wks. before absorption. Regressing masses in M. musculus were absorbed before the 5th weekly observation. 3 M. bactrianus mice were definitely susceptible to this M. musculus transplantable tumor. Successfully persistent subcutaneous transplants of tumor tissue between mammalian spp. have not been previously reported. This publication has 0 references indexed in Scilit:
