Abstract
Accessory spleens may be a frequent source of confusion to the angiographer. They should be considered in the differential diagnosis of pancreatic, adrenal, and retroperitoneal tumors. Characteristic angiographic features aid in their detection and diagnosis. When accessory spleens larger than 2 cm are atypical in location, 99mTc sulfur colloid camera images may help to confirm the diagnosis. Keywords
