Abstract
The photoionization cross sections of the singly excited H2 states are calculated. The Coulomb approximation method utilizing the Temkin‐Vasavada electron scattering phase shifts is used. Cross sections of are found for all states at threshold, the same range as found for H(n=2) atoms.
