Abstract
Moore's Law has been fundamental to the silicon industry, obeyed for the past 30 years; however, technology scaling will become difficult beyond 0.18 micron, threatening Moore's Law. This paper discusses future challenges, implication to microprocessor performance, power, and integration, and suggests alternatives to abide by Moore's Law.Keywords
