Abstract
It is argued that a particular distribution, in the Toller variable, of data from two- to three-particle reactions plausibly described by the double-Regge model, covering a wide range of energies, is flat if the two-Reggeon-one-particle vertex function in the amplitude is independent of . A prescription for selecting events useful for the test is given, and an estimate of the fraction of events thus selected is made.
