Abstract
The roentgenological examinations reported by A-bomb survivors and their comparisons participating in the ABCC-JNIH Adult Health Study were confirmed in surveys of Hiroshima and Nagasaki hospitals and clinics. Technical exposure factors provided during the latter were used in phantom dosimetry, duplicating the examinations received by the subjects. Bone marrow integral, gonadal and skin doses so obtained were compared with those of other investigators, and were applied to population data to estimate the magnitude of cumulated dose from medical X-ray with that from the Hiroshima and Nagasaki A-bombs.Keywords
