Abstract
Results of Csl37 measurements in human urine and caribou meat samples from the Canadian North are presented for 1963, 1964, and 1965. Estimates of body burdens were made from Csl37 concentrations in urine specimens. The average body burden of the people consuming relatively large quantities of caribou and reindeer meat were respectively 0.14 [mu]Ci, 0.40 [mu]Ci, and 0.56 [mu]Ci for those years. The highest level observed corresponds to a body burden of 3.2 [mu]Ci. It was comparatively higher in the eastern and central regions than in the western regions.
