Abstract

A heptaco-ordinate cobalt(II) atom completely enclosed in the macrobicyclic polyether ligand, C₁₆H₃₂N₂O₅ is present in the [2] cryptate [Co(C₁₆H₃₂N₂O₅)][Co(SCN)₄].
