Abstract
Tachysphex tenuipunctus and 2 unnamed spp. of the same genus preyed on and reduced high populations of Oedaleonotus enigma in Idaho in June 1954. Wasps stung, buried and oviposited on O. enigma nymphs. Eggs hatched in 2-3 days and larva completed growth in 10 days. Larvae overwintered in soil-covered cocoons, pupating and emerging the following spring. About 10% of the wasp larvae and O. enigma nymphs were attacked by a small sarcophagid fly, Texigramma heteroneura.
