Abstract
A case of acute colitis as the initial manifestation of the hemolytic-uremic syndrome in an 8-yr-old boy is described. The incidence, significance and therapeutic implications of gastrointestinal tract complications in this disorder, which may simulate infectious or inflammatory bowel disease, are discussed. This publication has 13 references indexed in Scilit:
