Abstract
A patient ingested an overdose of fenoprofen in an apparent suicide attempt. Her hospitalization was characterized by non-oliguric renal failure and hypotension. Forced diuresis was attempted. Dopamine was given i.v. to increase blood pressure and furosemide was administered to stimulate urine output. Serum creatinine had increased to 5.6 mg/dl and blood urea N reached 42 mg/dl until the 18th day, then decreased. She was discharged 25 days after taking the overdose. Keywords
