Abstract
A new sp. of homobasidio-mycete in the Gomphidlacea, Chroogomphus pseudovjnicolorr, is described from the northern Rocky Mountains, tT?LAnttsraroubust sp. with a dry cuticle, haematitle red plleus, amyloid trama, caespitose habit, and green spores. This is the 1st report of a green-spored sp. in the Gomphidiaceae. It has thick-walled, often amyloid cystidia, a character also found in C. vinicolor (Pk.) O. K. Miller, but this sp. has a viscid cuticle. The dry cuticle of C. pseudovinicolor places it in section Floccigoraphus (Imai) O. K. Miller. It has been found in northern and central Idaho and eastern Oregon, where it fruits in Sept. and Oct.This publication has 1 reference indexed in Scilit:
