Abstract
Seven cases are reported in which polyneuropathy developed as a complication of disulfiram therapy of alcoholism. Both motor and sensory involvement appeared in all. Six were chronic and responded to polyvitamin therapy; one was acute and probably allergic in origin, responding to antihistamine treatment. Spinal fluid protein was elevated in two cases, without cellular increase. The neuropathy appeared related to the dosage of disulfiram. Keywords
