Abstract
Strategies for the use of pheromones for the control of insect pests have generally been developed in countries of advanced technologies. In this paper the relevance of pheromones to the needs of agriculture in developing countries are discussed with particular reference to work by the Scientific Units of the British Overseas Development Administration. Keywords
