Abstract

Giffordia hincksiae (Harv.) Hamel collected on the south coast of Britain shows considerable form range. General morphological and reproductive characters for the species are given. Four forms are described, and three types of sporangia, including the long unilocular sporangium not previously recorded on this species in Britain.
