Abstract
Microradiographic examination after the introduction of thorotrast into the anterior chamber reveals a canalicular network of the iris, which is in communication with the ciliary body, the pars plana, the choroid and the sclera. It is probable that this system constitutes the posterior route for the escape of aqueous. The existence of such a route was demonstrated by Bill, and it accounts for 5% in the outflow of the intra-cameral fluid. Keywords
