Abstract
The deposition of amyloid fibril proteins as localized tumor-like masses (amyloid tumors) is a relatively rare phenomenon in the spectrum of amyloid-related disease. These tumors have a particular tendency to occur in the genitourinary tract and are often mistaken clinically for malignancies. We report a case of primary amyloidosis of the ureter. A cause for the amyloid deposition could not be identified. Keywords
